Catalina Villegas

Marketing Consultant

As our marketing consultant, Catalina’s role is connecting with people in an effortless way to demonstrate the many good reasons for working with our experienced team of financial professionals.

“I’m all about building relationships. I love connecting with good people and ensuring that we are not only educating them on their financial matters, but that we can also have fun while doing so,” Catalina says.

She is a strategic thought leader and team player with specialized knowledge of sports marketing management, Latinx and LGBTQ+ marketing strategies, and athlete/talent negotiations.

“My interpersonal skills have helped me meet people from different backgrounds, races and sexual orientations. Being fluent in Spanish and English helps me to create a sense of trust with a lot of Latinx athletes with great success in the baseball world,” says Catalina.

Catalina joined Adalan Private Wealth in July 2021 as a marketing consultant. She is also the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with Major League Baseball.

Catalina earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Northwestern State University, which she attended on a tennis scholarship. (She played junior tennis for Colombia and played professionally before college.) She also holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Management and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she served as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s tennis team.

Catalina is a board member for the nonprofit You Can Play, an organization that promotes inclusivity in locker rooms. She is also a mentor with the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Dallas and helps with fundraising activities for Fundacion Posada de Moises in Medellin, Colombia.
