Anthony David

Chief Executive Officer | Founding Partner | Private Wealth Advisor

Anthony works closely with a select group of clients, overseeing all aspects of their financial plans and coordinating investment management with tax efficiency and legacy planning. “While my clients are successful in their own right, financial planning is not their field of expertise, and it is my role to be a steward in this aspect of their lives,” Anthony says.

Anthony’s 20 years of experience as a wealth advisor for families and individuals has given him a seasoned perspective for pursuing their goals and building the legacies they desire. “The primary goal for my clients is to have a trusted advisor they can turn to in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. My job is to make sure they do not lose sight of their objectives no matter how challenging the circumstances,” adds Anthony.

Anthony devotes a significant amount of time to understanding each client and their family. He does not engage in an official capacity until his role and the value he can deliver are clearly defined.

“The common thread among my clients is that their success was not handed to them; it came as a result of hard work, passion, ingenuity and, most of all, guts. My position has allowed me to surround myself with some of the most successful and respected minds in various fields. The most rewarding experience of my career has been guiding top executives and business owners in shaping their next chapter.”

Despite his busy schedule, Anthony finds time to support worthy causes and organizations. He is the current co-chair for the March for Babies in Washington, D.C., an event that raises in excess of $1 million annually for the March of Dimes. He has previously served on their Signature Chefs committee as well as the committee for their annual golf tournament. He also served on the golf committee for the D.C. chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and, along with the Washington Commanders, helped raise over $500,000 annually.

Anthony also serves as a mentor for the Warriors Rising organization which helps entrepreneurial veterans identify their needs at a given stage in their business development and makes recommendations on a sound course of action to overcome obstacles they face.  He also sits on the board for SabesWings, an organization devoted to assisting those suffering from financial medical toxicity, financial burdens due to the harmful effect of high cost of treatments on a person’s quality of life.

In addition, Anthony is a strong advocate for National Links Trust, an organization dedicated to protecting and promoting accessible, affordable and engaging municipal golf courses to positively impact local communities across the United States.

Anthony founded Adalan Private Wealth and chose to affiliate with Concurrent in August 2021 after 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held the positions of Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Management Consultant. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The George Washington University. While a student, he completed internships at Prudential Securities, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

“My family is my inspiration for starting Adalan Private Wealth,” Anthony says. “Starting my own practice after two decades at a large institution certainly can be a scary experience, especially with a young family to look after. However, my middle son, Alex, is a constant reminder that anything is possible with faith and perseverance. He was born 14 weeks premature, weighing 1 pound 15 ounces. He came back from the brink of death at just 36 hours old and survived heart surgery when he was less than seven days old. We spent 126 days in the NICU with him, watching him fight for his life day in and out. He deserves a father who will show him and his brothers that you should always believe in yourself, and that you should choose the road less traveled to achieve your potential.”

Anthony is originally from Paramus, New Jersey, and now resides in Fairfax, Virginia, with his wife, Stacy, and their children, Samantha, Adam, Alexander and Anthony Jr. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing tennis and traveling.
